In Home Burgers

Tonight Billy and I were craving In N Out. Since we didn't feel like leaving the house, and since we are really trying not to spend money, we made our own "In N Out" burgers.
First we made 1/3 pound patties out of 80% lean ground beef. Then we sprinkled them with Lawry's Seasoned Salt as we put them on the grill. (We could have used a little more seasoned salt and next time we need to make the patties thinner.)
While the burgers were cooking, I sauteed a small diced white onion in a small skillet with about 2 Tbsp of butter over medium heat until they were very well done and really sweet and flavorful. I made a special sauce with 2 heaping Tbsp of mayonnaise, about 1Tbsp of ketchup and 1 Tbsp of sweet relish. I sprayed the hamburger buns with butter flavored cooking spray and toasted them on the grill until lightly browned with great grill marks.
To assemble, Kraft American Cheese slices topped the patties as they came off the grill.
I spread 1 Tbsp of special sauce on the bottom bun, then arranged 3 thin dill pickle chips and topped it with the cheese smothered patty. I spread 1 Tbsp of the grilled onions directly onto the cheese so they would stick to the gooey cheese.
Topped with 2 tomato slices, a piece of green leaf lettuce and the top bun, it was a perfect juicy, cheesy mock "In N Out" burger.
Sorry I didn't take pictures, this is my first experience with blogging and I didn't think about it.
